I'm actually from Arizona and my fiance is from Lake Charles, I've been into the music since I was fourteen, and I started off listening to Slipknot while at the same time listening to bands like Rotting Christ, Mayhem, God Dethroned, and Moonspell. We're moving back in November sometime and I'm really looking to starting a band, as from what I've seen Lake Charles seems open to metal with the Goatwhore shows at AJ's and everything. Not too much else of a metal scene from what I saw with the exception of the deathcore kids in Lafayette.
