Hi, my name is Athena. I'm a very retro person and I love vintage and nostalgic things such as old movies and music. I know it might be strange for someone my age to have interest in vintage things but, that's what makes me different from everyone. I sometimes think I was born in the wrong era. I find other era's more fascinating than the one live in today. I definitely should of been born in the 70's I love everything about it; the fashion, movies, TV shows, and of course the music.
Long live the fabulous 70's!!!!!!!
My favorite singer is the one and only Steve Perry. He has the most original and most mind blowing voice. It's like no other. I listen to Journey all the time and can't get enough of them. Their music never gets old.
My favorite singers of all time!!!!
1. Steve Perry
2. Freddie Mercury
3. Robert Plant
My favorite actor would have to be Leonardo Dicaprio. He is so talented. Who would ever think that the kid that played Luke on growing pains would be such a talented and big star? He was only on the show for one season. He did such a great job in the movie Gilbert grape. I personally think he should have won an Oscar. Leo shows his great talent in all of his movies. Over the past years Leo has still carried on his gorgeous looks.
How can you consider flower power outdated? The essence of my lyrics is the desire for peace and harmony. That's all anyone has ever wanted. How could it become outdated?
-Robert Plant

When we lost Freddie, we not only lost a great personality, a man with a great sense of humor, a true showman, but we lost probably the best, the really, the best virtuoso rock 'n' roll singer of all time. He could sing anything in any style. He could change his style from line to line and, God, that's an art. And he was brilliant at it.
~ Roger Daltrey
I have fun with my clothes onstage; it's not a concert you're seeing, it's a fashion show

Freddie Mercury - September 5th, 1946 -- November 24th 1991
On November 24th, 1991, Freddie's struggle against AIDS ended when he passed away just over 24 hours after he had publicly announced he had the disease. Musicians and fans from all over the world paid their highest respects as the passing of rock's most innovative, flamboyant ambassador signified the end of an era at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium on April 20, 1992 which gave birth to the Mercury Phoenix Trust, the AIDS charity set up in Freddie's memory by the remaining members of Queen and Freddie's Executor, Jim Beach.
