@tomx63 Thanks. The plate is a friction fit, so it is pretty tight. That combined with the weight of the router and the downward pressure from the workpiece means no movement whatsoever with or without the fence.

@MegaJuan88 The router may be able to swing it safely, as it is variable speed but realistically it would be underpowered. My table insert of course would not accommodate such a bit.

@larfsen Thanks. The weight of the router, the fit of the plate, and the fence do help to keep it in place. Don't forget that the downward pressure on the workpiece as it is being fed works in your favor too. Best of luck on your router table build.
