This reminds me a lot of most modern video games, where they spend so much time on the visual presentation that the rest of the content suffers.

One in particular, who actually is Bowser's son, is Bowser Jr.

@Kersey475 I can respect your opinion, but I actually prefer Miyazaki for the same reason. Also, the movies do have "villains", but more from differing views than being clear cut evil

He manages to craft very engaging stories and a lot of likable well developed characters without a "true" villa...

@SuperFamfan Well, this was supposed to be a much more kid oriented film than a lot of Miyazaki's other films. Even so, it's not to bad.

It's kind of a Japanese take on "The Little Mermaid", and Disney was in charge of the English release, so they decided to play on it.

@903someone I see what you're saying. I think the problem is all the "retsupurae-able" videos that spawned as a result. The problem isn't that he offered the chance to play the game, I think the issue is in the video responses that were of much lower quality.

@PoIaris I could picture this as some kind of multi-mission based game, like Mega Man Zero or Crisis Core: FF VII

@OfficialDrWily I think that's what they were going for. Mega Man classic is meant to be light hearted, especially next to the X series, so that was the point of the PU.

They intentionally went for a toy feel with the songs.
