This is the most memorable chapter in the whole book. Jane Eyre has returned to Mr. Rochester and all is well with the world. Critics never liked this "Hollywood" ending, but to hell with the critics. There can not be any other ending to this masterpiece.

Listen carefully. Lata sings "Ab dil hi na dil ke arman hi" She should say Hain, the plural. After "ke" one should say "hain" and NOT hi. Ke is plural. But since it is Lataji, it is forgiven.

The trio, Kirk, Spock and Dr. McCoy are part of so many lives for so many years that it is hard to relate to them other than the charecters, they portrayed.

All time classic. It belongs in the Smithsonian for posterity.

Yes, Manto mentions Shyam in many of his famous short stories. Shyam died so young. Manto was also a great friend of Ashok Kumar. His classic afsana "thanda Gosht", a must read.
