@junebug4ca You are right, touching the bulb with your fingers is a 'no-no' - the oils from your fingers can / will shorthen the life of the bulbs.
Using an alcohol wipe is just a precaution (incase you have touched the glass by accident) - I hope this info helps

@illchayzz101 the alcohol removes any oil from touching the bulb with your fingers (sometimes its hard not to touch it) not really necessary, but oil from your skin can decrease the life of the bulbs - like anything, taking care does make things last longer... hope that helps
