By the way, I'm tired of all this "I miss music from the old days" shallowness. And the "[Insert subject here] has nothing on [insert subject here]."

But thats the way it always has been. People cannot seem to appreciate music in their own time. They always reflect to a moment in the past to compare it to.

If you think Hip-Hop is dead, listen to Lupe Fiasco, Kid-Cudi, and Asher Roth just to name a few. Wax and Dumbfoundead have been releasing fresh tracks as well.

What I'm saying is that rosy retrospection is hindering individuals' abilities to be grateful for whats out there now. Maddening and saddening isn't it?
