Julian Raphael is our multiskilled conductor composer. He arranged this version of Come By Here, that's him on the piano, and he also leads the ukulele, marimba and drum bands heard in this concert, as well as others we don't even know about!

The song is Vamudara. Marimba Mojo from Lower Hutt, Wellington and local Zimbabweans dancers. The highlight of the night for me was singing while these girls got individually applauded by our full house - choir and audience totalled about 1400.

This was a lot of fun. There were about 130 of us from the Wellington Community Choir and 2 much smaller but perfectly formed Nelson choirs who joined us for this special concert.
