daily dances for YearOfButoh

i am dancing daily to try and be more receptive to my environment - both outer (whether natural or manmade surroundings) and inner.
i walk through each incredibly busy day not knowing where the next dance will take place or what i will do - and just dance wherever and whenever i am inspired. nothing is pre-planned or pre-thought out.
i am just beginning my journey into butoh and hope that one day i will be able to express my soul freely through dance.
my mentor is maureen freehill who studied with kazuo ohno (among others). she observes my dance offerings and provides helpful feedback in which to continue the dance exploration more deeply. i answered her invite to dance daily honoring 50 years of butoh.
i am humbly stumbling as a beginner on this path and have the utmost respect for those who have chosen butoh as their life's passion.
these dances are practices and tools for me to learn and depict my fledgling attempts at such a profound practice.
