*Click More to see lyrics etc* Hi all! Here is another poem I wrote tonight, called Missing. It is set to music by Enigma called "Smell of Desire". It is rich in lyrics so this is only instrumental with soft French inserts throughout, a very nice song for this, I think. I am considering this to be included in my book so your constructive comments are welcome! Please don't claim my work for yourself but if you enjoy, feel free to pass on a link to your friends. I hope you enjoy.
Lyrics: Alone in this solitude that surrounds me, and all I can think of is you. How the flames dance and taunt me in this silence, so empty inside and yearning still. Do you know how much you fill me up, only to leave me hollow until next we speak? Or how my bittersweet dreams of you become my entire world, only for it to shatter when I awaken in the night and you are not with me? Lost forever in you, tis where I only long to be, for all that I desire is so very far from me. Promise me I will drink in your caress, that our paths will meet and by your side I will be held. Oh but I may never let you go, should I have you to myself. Can I hold you? Hold you so close against me so that our hearts feel the other beating? So close that who we were before is but a distant memory, and all we behold is each other? Enwrapped in a warm, sultry closure, my body against yours, as one we are and have become? Can I kiss you? Adorn your lips with mine own, so softly and tenderly, massaging together in a sensuous bliss. To taste you as sweet as honey would be a luscious delight, as we share the air that we breathe in this intertwinement. Taking in every inch of you from head and feet and again, while whispering my love for you beheld. Can I make love to you? Oh what decadency we would share, so intimate, so heated, as we dive into ecstasy together, rising and falling as the waves in the seas. Beautiful one, no words dare tell of the intensity of this extravagant lust between us. To feel you spent in my arms to caress so tenderly, our sighs of pleasure and hushed expressions echoing in this raging appetite. Can I dance with you? Hold you ever close against me as the music fills the air, so slowly floating with you, sharing hushed tones of adoration inbetween whispers of delight. Pressing myself so tightly against you completely lost in your eyes, feeling your hands round my waist ever closer. Can I keep you? Keep you in my embrace forever and savour you with my kiss until the dawn breaks the scape? Will you let me indulge in your sweetness, and show my world to you in all of its rushing desire held only for you? My love for you is so great I cannot contain it, oh how deeply I have plunged into this ever deepening passion of you. Oh the love I can show you is not found in any other, for no one can cherish you as I. Belonging only to each other, so vast and deep is my affection towards you, without limit or space. And so lovely are you my amorous one, the more I have of you the more I crave, you encaptivate me my darling, I grow so weak from this unrelenting longing inside for you, catch me. My life is but one, long, unending ache for you, oh that you would bring me such sweet satisfaction with but a touch. How I desire you so deeply, I am yours my love, only yours, save me from this cold night into your arms, where I would pleasure you over and over. My only true love, how I melt into you and with you, leave me not lingering here, where until next we speak, I am alone, and missing you. Copyright: poeticone2812009

*Click More to see lyrics etc* Hey there ppls! This poem is both lyrics rich and has lots of images, and is set to a song by Evanescence called October. There is so much being said here, that you might need to watch it a few times to let it really sink in. This one is being included in my book, so constructive comments are welcome! As always, please do not claim my work for yourself, but if you enjoy it, feel free to pass on links to your friends. Thank you for watching! Lyrics: My dreams how they call to me, yet your name rings louder, how I long to hold you, and be with you, now and forever. And I wonder how it is that I can miss someone so much, and and crave so passionately a touch, that I have never known. And how it is that my heart can yearn so much for a love I have imagined for my entire life, when it is standing right in front of me. And I chase after it, flying behind a passion so strong it takes me away from myself, and into your arms, where I belong. And you, how you are as an angel sleeping, so weary from the day and desiring another moment with me. A faceless one you were, in crafted fantasies I held you in my breath, and seeing you before me, my soul leaps with delight, for it has met its mate, the one fated to be mine and I his. Many a night teardrops lulled me to sleep, wondering, waiting, and askingwhere are you? You are my world, and my breath, every heartbeat whispers your name. Echoing in this room my silenced sighs escape me, longing to have you near me. So far from you it seems, yet I carry you inside my soul, each moment frozen in a memory of last we spoke. And I wonder, if I held out my hand, would you take it and never let it go, and if I needed you in the middle of the night would you hold me so sweetly? If I gave you my lips, would you kiss them, and if my arms opened to you would you run to them? And if I said you were the only one who can save me and I cannot endure another breath without you, would you come? For I have given my heart so completely to youtake care of it, and my smile is yours, only asking that you return it. And should I need to be understood, would you hang on my every word, and when the world is unkind to me, would you let me hide in your embrace? My lips are yours anticipating meeting your own, and these arms have been open to you since the day you walked into my life. And my tears, how they warm my cheeks as I miss you so deeply awaiting your caress. And I desperately need you to save me. I cannot spend another moment without you, and sleepless are my nights for you are not beside me. My heart so aches to have yours next to it, and my body screams to wrap itself around you, and be love to you in ways you never thought possible. For in sleep we are together, as the stars beam on our bodice and the breeze sings us to slumber, in a secret reality, and world of bliss to disappear into the other every time we close our eyes. Such a great chasm between us, yet we are under the same sky, as I look longingly out my window, and I wonder if you can sense me, if you can hear my hushed adorations in your ear so softly whispering to you. For as long as I know you are waiting for me at the end, this misery of loneliness I would endure endlessly, for the gift of you and to give myself to you in return. And hold onto our someday, for then all that we have wished for will be savoured as sweet, giving ourselves to the other to hold and to cherish forever, as in our dreams. Copyright: poeticone2812009
