The JF-17 is much better than the MiG-21 for sure, it is a Mirage 2000-F-16A type, now they are improving it, but certainly is a match for aircraft like the F-16, MiG29, Mirage 2000 or may be SU30 but you can not expect it to be good in everything.

LCA is a good aircraft and its good points are small signature visual and in radar, good electronics and delta wing. Can the LCA beat a JF-17? That’s a million dollars question and can be answered only after their face to face competition in a dog fight.
