I agree, it is totally awful.

Repeating the great man's name over shows how it is claiming credit by association (A more genuine tribute wouldn't need that) In terms of lyrical quality it is an insult.

I adore Bonnie Raitt's work, she has an exceptional voice, so soulful (in the truest sense) AND YET, when Jackson Browne's vocals begin, so achingly beautiful, they lift everything a couple of notches. He's amazing.
