Blake nails Alexis' character dead on here. She loves her children and she loves Dex, but not as much as she hates Blake. She the spurned woman on steroids, and that's why she never ends up happy.

AC had more range as an actor and was the Steven I first saw. But JC was fine, played Steven longer, acted with PSM as much, and was on for the ratings peak. I like AC, but JC is Steven for me. And goodbye Pamela Sue Martin...She was so missed! The show was really never the same after she left; I think it was one too many core charater departures. Plus it was in Season 5 that the writing began its downward slide, getting exponentially worse with every season thereafter.
