What I love
1) Punk rock music of course. Well any kind of metal, but punk the most.
2) Girls.

5) Hockey. I love hockey! I started skating when I was 3 and had my first stick by the time I was 4. I played all the way until I was 16. Then I REALLY discovered girls! LMFAO!

Over the years there have been several players the Wild have traded off or released that have set me off. Most notably for me Willie Mitchell, Andrew Brunette and Antti Laaksonen. For me those were nothing compared to when they released Derek Boogaard. I was devastated. Derek was by far my favorite Wild Player. His ability to skate less than 3 minutes a game and have me screaming Boogey every time he hit the ice heart pounding, palms sweating never ceased to amaze me. I was in the building when Derek received a 2nd assist. The announcer announced the goal scorer, clap clap, the first assist, less clap less clap. Then Derek's name was announced as the second assist and the building almost fell down around us.

Everyone was standing and cheering because we loved him. His heart and his drive were bigger than the standing ovation we gave him. No he wasn't the best player. He didn't skate very well, he didn't pass very well nor did he shoot very much. But he was ours. He was our Boogey man. And we loved him for who he was. I have tears in my eyes because the world is not quite the place it was before the tragedy that has befalling the State of Hockey on May 13, 2011. On behalf of all those who loved Derek for the powerful figure he was I extend my deepest sympathy to the Boogaard Family. All of us in the State of Hockey mourn your families' loss. It's just not fair. I just hope you realize what your Son has meant to us. To me. We love you Derek, rest in peace.
