As you can see, I am into martial arts. Many of my earlier vids were shot at our farm. We have sold that and moved now.
I intend to put more clips of kata, tao liu and hyung (or Poomse) up. Although I train with a couple of clubs, most of my personal training consists of the practice of forms. Over the years I have learned quite a few. I treat them as a great way to train, as they force you to train in a specific way.
I confess I am not particularly good at them, and I know I don't conform to the current trends in Tae Kwon Do especially. I know I do the forms slightly too fast. I refuse to bother with sine wave technique which I am not impressed by at all! I have learned several versions of some forms, mostly I only train one version and discard the rest. Occasionally they differ so much I train both because there is no confusion to be had. (eg: recently I learned a version of Kata Naihanchin... akin to Tekki, that is so different as to be worth trainnig seperately. I also train 2 versions of Tekki Nidan, since they are barely similar at all)
