About Oxford Improvisers
Oxford Improvisers was established in 2001 to promote concerts and provide a source of relevant information and to continue the work begun by the Oxford Improvisers' Co-Operative in the 1980s.
We run concerts at a variety of venues around Oxford, including a residency at the Port Mahon on the second Wednesday of the month, featuring outstanding guests from all over the world as well as musicians from Oxford's thriving community of improvisers.
If you're interested in exciting and risk taking live music played by amazingly creative musicians, please come and check out one of our gigs!
We also run a regular informal playing session most Mondays at 7:30pm - interested musicians please contact us .
