I just wanted to let you know that you are an inspiration to people world wide. Your strength is amazing and remember that. So few have the courage to go through what you are doing, let alone publicly. Keep strong through thick or thin and thank you for being such an inspiration.

Hi Owen! I would just like to say, while just searching random videos up on Youtube, and finding your videos, I am very happy to see that someone is stepping up and showing their true selves. But also posting up your videos and of your progress is just unbelievably fearless of you! I am actually bisexual, and always scared to show my true self for I'm afraid of being bullied and hated. You have taught me that it's good to be yourself. Thanks. :) Can't wait for more of your videos! <3

Earlier this year there was a report on German TV about Balian Buschbaum, born as Yvonne, a former member of the German women athletics team (world cup participant in pole vault). Today, a handsome man, I bet many men wish to look as manly, indeed - well, I do :-) While most literature on the web is in German, you may want to look up his pictures on google as an inspiration.

Good for you to be who you are all the way. It is a shame that there are some physical low spots on the journey--as a woman (I am a nurse omg) going through menopause without being able to add supplemental female hormones I somewhat relate to a young man going the other way on a similar track. The agressive mood spots and the nasty jawline acne at 47.75 yrs old (eeeew I have read my big ol' zits are testosterone mediated) make every day a new adventure }: ), to say nothing of hot flashes that give a dual meaning in my usually ladylike life to the term "heavy sweater" heehee. I hope your young age at the time of your life-changing adventure helps provide you with a long and happy life. Take care of yourself, sweetheart--I hope your parents are as proud of you as you deserve them to be.

Testosterone made me feel... so much better. My life at school and at work really improved, and I felt physically better, too.

I'm a trans guy who is only attracted to men. We do exist, lol! A good book to read at this stage in the transition (or any, really) if you haven't already is Max Wolf Valerio's The Testosterone Files.

Hi Owen. You are awesome. You speak so well, so clearly. I am impressed. We need more people like you.

Hope you are feeling better.

I'm so proud of you Owen! I must say that I'm a little bit worried about you after watching this video. I could tell you aren't feeling well. I hope you start feeling better soon. I've read that testosterone injections can affect a person's moods; that it can cause anger outbursts at times. I'm so glad to know that you're in therapy, as this will be a tremendous help, especially now that you've been taking the injections for 3 weeks now. You are such a brave young man! I wish you a very happy holiday season!

Thank you for doing this. With publicity will come negativity from some, but my hope is that most of the responses are positive. I was talking to a good friend the other day (who has spent the last 20 of her 60 years as a woman) about a quote that I love: "We don't have souls. We have bodies. We ARE souls." I think it's so important that there are people like you in the world who are stepping up and demonstrating that sometimes, our souls don't fit with the bodies we were born into, and that it's okay.
