Apart from mother nature the greatest contribution to this planet are its people. I adore good people and good nations. I have no time for the bad. For myself I try to do the right as I see the right, I will hurt no man, whether verbally or physically; it is not for me to judge anyone but I do have set opinions on how one conducts him or herself. If you communicate with me, then be civil as I will be to you. I was a long time serving soldier and after 25 years in the British infantry I have seen all the flak that I need to see. I love my country and its people, I will defend both with word and deed whenever the need arises.

I love distance running and run about 25 miles each week. I run every half and full marathons that I can get to. I have completed the London marathon ten times, ambition to do the New York this year. I just love running but on my own, also hill walking and being in the wild. I travel to remote parts of the world just for the kick of it.
