@topcontender13 If you use alot of that shaper you canl make that visor stiffer than when it was new. I think new era sells the shaper seperate.

@topcontender13 The recap inflatable cap form will get the wrinkles out of a visor no problem. Use the shaper to make the material crisp and it will look good.

@TheTrippleTKA The shaper is a synthetic resin that is made to make cloth materials stiffer and to repel moisture. If that sounds good, I guess you can use it on your hair.

@bucksparta I use it with all my snapback works good. don't over inflate. brought back a crushed cap that would been trash.

@uzi2004 Most caps you can wash by hand in mild soap. I use the cleaner as a pretreat on the stains then use the brush and wash by hand in cold water. The thing you need than is that inflatable form and the shaper to get the wrinkels out or the cap and make it crisp like new. I think this kit works.

@drfizzle420 If the stain is set yellow NO WAY. IF SO try the cleaner as a pre wash in mild soap use the brush and than put in on the form so it does not wrinkle or shrink. ALWAYS must sure the cap is color fast. test with a wet cloth on the inside on cap.

Don't use hairspray it will flake on the inside of the cap and you look like you got a bad case of dandruff.

The only thing I found to clean and shape a cap are those inflatable cap shapers new era has one and so does nu-cap. the basket is cheap it don't work so you lost your cheap money.

@ThaMadDog56 I havethe dishwasher on some caps and than had to get a recap kit to fix all the caps the washer screwed up! The shaper works good.

Throwing a hat or cap in the dishwasher or washing machine will really take it's toll. Stimulate your econonomy by making all of your washable cap...
I had a bag of dirty caps I was going to toss. I used this product and was able to clean and shape every cap. This is the real deal.

This thing is well made and it is the only thing I found that really shapes a cap and the shaper is liquid acrylic that makes the cap stiffer and helps repel dirt. It works a hell of lot better than that basket dishwasher crap.

Check out the (washing a cap video) where they use this to clean a cap after it was ran over with a car in the rain. guess a cap in the mud is no big deal butterfingers.

The best way to clean the sweat of the brim is to use the cleaner and the brush then use some mild soap and water on a towel and scrub the stain. Then wrinsh the cap quickly put it on the inflatable form if you got one and let it dry slowly don't put in in the sun.
