About Outta Your Backpack Media!
The Outta Your Backpack Media Collective seeks to create community ownership of media, recognizing the inherent creative energy of youth, and challenges corporate dominated media. We create fully equipped decentralized media centers in each backpack. The collective acts as a network of mentors to attain resources by fundraising and getting donations, distribution of the backpacks through the creation of a network of youth and communities, and disseminates skills by organizing trainings and providing individual mentorship.
