As a recently unemployed 35 year old father of two, I will take this new found time to work on my micro farm. I have a few short term goals, but the long term goal of living simply while my kids want for nothing will be the ultimate end for me. I will be trying to make vids of my triumphs and failures on my 1 acre residential plot in New England. I find things much more rewarding if I place a dollar value to the things I do directly such as finding/cutting/splitting a cord of firewood myself rather than spending $325 per cord and have it delivered.
