Great playing (as always I should say). You wouldn't have a recording of this piece on "your usual" Trost organ ? (love its sound so much more than this one)

I love the interpretation. Very light and lively. Not as "heavy" as many would play this piece. Don't find it too fast either. The tempo suits perfectly the liveliness of the piece.

@HayrapetSahakyants : Agree. I do love Rogg's interpretations. But if you love this Passacaglia, I would suggest you check the Piano transcription by Emile Naoumoff. A pure wonder. I can bet that Bach wouldn't have written it any different, would he have written it for Piano in the first place.

@MrBooker39 : check the Piano transcription from E. Naoumoff (available on Youtube too). Brought tears to my eyes. He too plays as if he's in love with each and every single note.

With regards to organ, I am no expert, but while I do love Karl Richter's interpretation here, I prefer the registrat...

Unconditional fan of Bach, I am discovering this interpretation. I am sure JS himself would be very proud of it. It gives a different taste to it, without damaging in any way nor the genius nor the awesomeness that lays in this piece of music. Many thanks, Mr Loussier.
