Hey, thanks for remembering! Writ this one with my old New Mexico buddy Glen Castleberry. He and I were co-writers on "Lovelight" and "If I Were Loving You" as well.

Glen recorded 13 of my songs while I was with him including "Pave". "The Whites" had a top ten single hit on "Give Me Back That Old Familiar Feeling" in 1984.I forget which of Glen's albums that was on. I told Glen he could sing my song demos anytime! ~( :-)

Who is the guitar player on this cut? Sounds like a pedal steel, eh?

When I went to work playing bass for him in '67 he was still using that guitar. By then it looked like it had been used for a baseball bat. He had a tiny picture of Elvis scotch-taped to it with "Original Sound" typewritten below it. When he got the "Summer Brothers Smothers Show", Ovation fixed ...

Best I remember, we were sometimes pretty well in tune. ~( :-) That's probably the only time we ever did that on camera. "Moments To Remember" I think it was.
