Just having some fun with videos. I don't watch TV, I'd rather make my own....
About Me:
Ed served as Director of Marketing for Alvarado Street Bakery in the San Francisco Bay area. Ed was one of the founders and it is now one of the largest organic bakeries in the world.
The first thing Ed did at the bakery was take a hard look at what the advertising budget was accomplishing. Alvarado Street was advertising just like everyone else was and getting the same puny results.
Ed discovered that the advertising and promotion methods used by most of the corporate world was too expensive for the results produced. Alvarado street was in a life and death struggle for shelf space at the supermarkets and needed to win if our company was to survive.
Ed decided that to win, he needed to create a new approach, one that was buyer oriented rather than seller oriented.
It was at the bakery that Ed started implementing his brand new new approach to marketing. He called this system the "UTurn System of Buyer Centered Marketing".
Because it was a "Uturn" from the usual methods of telling the buyer how great the company and their product is.
At Alvarado Street Bakery, Ed was able to experiment and refine this new system with direct mail, print, billboard and radio advertising.
In a few years of using the system at the bakery sales increased from $370,000 per year to over $4,400,000.
I have been fine tuning and honing these techniques (and many others) for the last 16 years. When the web came along I adapted them to sell on the web.
Ed has written hundreds of articles on marketing and wrote a best selling book on real estate marketing back in 1997.
Ed is headquartered in central Oregon, works with clients on-site throughout central Oregon, and conferences by phone with clients world-wide.
He offers consultation service for both online and offline businesses. Let him take a look at your advertising and work wonders for you.
Ed's job is to make your product sell. The advertising folks' job is to sell advertising.
The more space they sell - the more money they make.
