I think this is what he was about, he had a sound, a spirit and a very deep soul. I miss him... He knew what he was missing, he went there to be where we will be someday, I can't wait to jam with him. Can't help it, technically, I know what he was capable of , he just lost hope. When he was on hi...

This is great, John is unique and rocks, so happy to hear it again! I used to live in Newbury Ma. Anything good is hard to find. I actually like not being able to find something in a music store. If you do, it sucks! That's a weird, sick, yet proven rule these days!

This is nothing short of amazing! I love this shit, The melodies he comes up with, you could actually whistle them as a tune. The fact that he does it over prog metal rocks.I first heard the magic back around Awaken the Guardian. Glad to see the spirit lives. Do I hear Portnoy?

I really like it. Dark, moody, hypnotic. Sabbath, Deftones for sure. I like the repetitiveness, then it hits a really cool bridge that pulls right to the main riff. No use or need for verse, bridge chorus. The typical structure everyone and their mother feel a need to do! This band likes what the...

This is the most incredible lead on top of the most amazing vocal. It works together over a simplistic yet beautiful structure. That's how you build a song.

I love how the chords overlap once it kicks in, insane dissonance but really effective to show the emotion of the lyric. Great lead. I'll bet someone in the control room was freakin' out on that build.

Great band, always been a fan of slow, heavy, melodic. Tool comparisons are natural but obviously by listeners not musicians. Both very good, not even close in feel. cool syncopations but not tool in that aspect. still impressive though and super melodic, something tool doesn't always have.
