Saying success is a journey and not a destination is an understatement; for Willie Beamen success embodies his lifestyle of perseverance. A budding music career in Atlanta GA is a far cry from bouncing around foster homes throughout his childhood. At this point Willie Beamen is thankful for the opportunity to live out his lifestyle, which is music. By following his dream into uncharted territories Willie Beamen has already attained success by doing what he loves to do. It all started at a very young age, Willie Beamen stumbled into a keen knack for wordplay writing poetry on paper for the girls in class; which in turn evolved into performing flirtatious raps about his school yard crushes. Ironically his time in school was a great escape from Willie feeling alone, he never knew his father and his mother was often absent from his life. So he used his talents as his charm or a way to find love.

As he matured Willie Beamen began incorporating his hardships into his poetry and raps by the time he was 16 his skills fully flourished. He would write to inspire himself with the hope to eventually inspire kids who also faced similar dire situations; so he made a pact with himself to always be a voice for struggling children. So he embarked on a journey to pursue his talents. After years on the stagnant local music scene in Worcester MA Willie Beamen decided to do the inevitable, with his dream and a one-way plane ticket Willie Beamen packed his bags and moved to Atlanta Georgia in January 2007. Soon thereafter he teamed up with his long time producers Kaotiq Simfoni and his management team Tunnel Vision to establish Folcal Point Entertainment, dubbing the crew Fp Members.

Fast forward to the future and using innovation as an interface to access the music industry Willie has positioned his brand to establish a multimedia legacy. To showcase his lyrical abilities he created The Walking On The Sun video blog, he produces two abstract videos a week, which showcase different lyrical topics accumulating thousands of views. In August 2009 he released a critically acclaimed underground album mixtape with producer/artist Session and Kaotiq Simfoni entitled Too Much Tv (2009) on this project they reinterpreted televisions most memorable theme songs and created a palette of songs that reflected their talents.

On the heels of releasing his new music and traveling the country to perform his music, Willie Beamen has taken the time to reflect on the countless hours of studio work he has logged in since moving to Atlanta Georgia. The most important thing is hes not going to tell you he is the best rapper of all time because the people will decide that. Hes not going to tell you how shiny his diamonds are because he doesn't own any. He wont talk about how much money he has because hes just an ordinary guy with EXTRA-ordinary dreams.
