I love music. I try to record as often as possible when I can get my camera into the venue. I don't go to as many concerts as I'd like, but I do my best to see my favs.

I was recording using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 with 5MP and 10x optical zoom/3x digital zoom.

I tried using my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5. It has 9.1MP and same optical zoom as my former camera. However after recording TVOTR using both, it is definitely confirmed the poor audio is from the TZ5, not the venues. I hate knowing how much better the videos would have been for the shows between DIOY,Y through Ra Ra Riot.

I've got the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 with 10MP, 12x optical zoom, & HD 720P recording & enhanced sound. Tried it for the first time at Deadmau5 on 17-Nov-2009 and am very pleased with the audio quality.
