I am a bass player for the most part and played professionally till I was about 35. The past few years I've been picking up the acoustic guitar for fun. Not too serious about it, but I really enjoy it. My equipment is way too good for my level of playing (1976 Guild F-50, and for electric I've got a hand made Les Paul played through a Marshall 1974x (handwired series) amp that sounds beautiful).
I love YouTube because it lets anybody get out in front of a lot of people and its great to see so many musicians out there -- and there are quite a few great players that no one would hear of otherwise if it weren't for YouTube.
I also run WebGuitarTabs.com for kicks. I've done a little web 2.0 trickery where I link up the tab with a related video... it's catching on too.
