"Oxygene I" - on Technics, Elka and Yamaha organs

Sometimes serendipity just kicks in without a warning. I was at a second hand sale last year and upon leaving I passed the bin they used for scrapped stuff - things they thought couldn't be sold. In this unlikely place I saw the little Zoom 505 guitar effects pedal and they didn't mind me taking it. At home I connected it and it worked. No repairs needed.

It has a phaser that sounds quite good with the Elka organ strings and what could be more natural than to play this classic piece by J.M.Jarre. I know purists says that I should use a SmallStone instead. But why should I make an exact copy of the record?

I had the sheet music again this time and I follow it quite close. I have said it before: JMJ doesn't always play what he has written which makes the job a bit challenging. But I think it came out relatively acceptable.
