2002 specializes in music with classically tinged melodies, dreamy flutes, crystalline piano, tender strings, celestial choirs, harp and acoustic guitar.
About Me:

Pamela and Randy Copus, the duo known as 2002, have charted 9 albums on the Billboard Charts. This Moment Now, won the COVR award for Best New Age Album in 2003. 2002 made the list of top new age artists in the Billboard Magazine "Year in Review" issue, December 2003. Also on the list; Yanni, Manhneim Steamroller, Jim Brickman, George Winston & Enya.
Randy Copus plays piano, electric cello, guitar, bass and keyboards. Pamela Copus plays flutes, harp, keyboards and a wind instrument called a WX5. Both musicians also provide all of the vocals on their albums, recording their voices many, many times and layering them to create a "virtual choir" with a celestial, angelic quality.

Well now "Memory of the Sky" can be my new 2002 obsession to temporarily distract me from my "Dreaming of You" addiction! Seriously, the entire WINGS II - RETURN TO FREEDOM album is a
continuum of meditative beauty! I wonder how many children might be born as 2002 fans if midwives
ever hear such a great album!! Although this is ideal above and beyond Lamaze of course! I hope this album finds itself into many homes. It's the kindest and most stylish way to help people deal with the social stress that accompanies the holiday season. Best wishes (esp on your recovery from that nasty injury) as always, ~Terry Ѽ✿ܓ

I love your repertoire through and through, but am particularly obsessed by the haunting beauty of "Dreaming of You." The lovely video Truus had done for that transcendent bauble is my preferred way to enjoy it. But I do rely on the mp3 to sustain me -- near daily! -- between views. I must say it's among the very most beautiful pieces of music experienced in my 46 years. I wish your household peace and harmony and fulfillment. ~Terry in So FL

All your songs/masterpieces have inspired me. I've just recently heard of you guys and I'm hooked! This is real music! Music that releases, that liberates from daily troubles and allows me to seek the unfathomable truths awaiting. I wish teens my age were into this type of beautiful music, but I guess I'm the lucky one. Thank you to you two. -Warm Regards, Jenny Wakeman

You must be angels for the music you create is absolutely heavenly! I get goose bumps and teary eyed listening to your music.

Just a few times on a decade we can see something transcendental on new age panorama. 2002 for me is virtually the touch of a technical perfection with a component of something ethereal, something which is completely spiritual and a point apart of all New Age production. I can feel my mind flying to infinity, no sorrow, no conflicts, no conventions, just freedom... my soul in absolutely fullness with Universe.

My blessings Pamela and Randy, you're so talented!! :D
