    I saw this sea monster puppet at Wah Changs house in 1970.

    I assume the infrared was for some kind of travelling matte test but as far as I know the puppets were shot using miniature rear projection.

    Even so I like it better than any of the CGI I have seen. CGI is so lifeless

    and same-looking all the time. Thousands of people have done CGI effects but only a handful of artists have ever even attempted stop-motion for feature fil...
