@cantorandopera: I agree with you. Just relax and enjoy. This fixation on heldentenor voice for this role is destroying art. This guy sings very well. He is a natural. Voice is clear an NOT manufactured.

This is wonderful singing: such ease of vocal production, such warm and tenderness, sob factor, spin, line, everything is here. This rendition presents a gold standard of great classical singing for conservatory students.

Badly sung. High A is bad, high B is a shout. Overall better than karaoke standard but does not befit his reputation or the degree of public adulation.

Laboured singing, choppy line, tight throat. Tone colour is OK. Overall, bad.

yes dilber was great. great technique and great singing. anna netrebko is no match.

She is overrated. Breathing at wrong place in the text is unacceptable for classical singing eg benedic-ta. The music industry is abusing her because of her age. She should go for proper vocal training or she is going to lose it with the vocal abuse the industry is going to heap onto her.
