I have a feeling that Katherine Jenkins isn't a mezzo but artificially does this. She darkens here sound and her high notes sound...shrill to the ear. Jack is .... WOW. Her voice is pure, natural and ... wow dazzling.

@xxenkixx I bet smoking gave her that timbre or at least enchanced that natural, unique colouring...her voice gives me the chills sometimes. And the woman has so much emotion without exerting too much energy - effortless, the way she produces these sounds. And I haven't even mentioned her aweomse...

I would like to say that I have been singing for about 15 years, through your teaching, I still find new ways of thinking about the technique - it's like I can feel my brain cells connecting with new insight. Thank you for these videos!!

@RaWrZzZz :) it has been one of my dreamsroles to play Christine in ALW's Phantom. And when I first started training in my mid-teens, I was told that I was a mezzo. I was so disappointed. But miraculously (for me anyway) it was just a case of the teacher not really being clear about voice types!

@maxxbob I wish so badly that I could have seen Crawford. I heard he was great and that the recording does him little justice.
