size doesn't equal quality, but bigger voices are harder to move. which was my point. also was my point about franco, ettore and jerry singing handle. those were all huge voices and moved very well.

i guess i learned something.. i always thought a piezo pickup was attached on top of the saddle under the strings, and the ones that attached on the top were transducer pickups. you can mount a transducer inside also but the ones that mount on the top don't need any cuts in the wood. never ...

this is so good i could cry.... this is the real thing kids. laser beam high notes and sensativity beyond reproach. i've sung with a lot of coloraturas that would be enthralled with her voice and artistry. is this aldo playing for her. i would imagine it is.

first time i've ever heard it without the high note at the end... he must have been tired or worried to leave it out. and before anybody jumps on me i liked treigle and heard him several times in this and other parts. it was a very distinctive voice. and it IS the first time i've ever hear...

yes, his diction is a lot easier to understand. recording standards have come a long way since the dog listening to the big megaphone... :--)

his english should be better. he's spent most of his life in the usa singing and working here since 1961

caruso was amongst the first of the tenors to take chest tone all the way up and consequently make the big sound. before him opera went through the castrotti period or most tenors sang a sort of falsetto on top.
