The condition of Mankind:
Man desires both to know the nature of the reality he has been born into and to discover his role within that reality. Yet, as noble as this desire is, we find man has, unknowingly, succumbed to delusions about reality that bind him. As if this were not strange enough, it is stranger still to recognize that man cannot detect the delusions he has about himself because they exert a power that disguises their presence. To free ourselves of the fetters that bind us and to find a cure for our folly is the double role of philosophy.

A person becomes successful in order to be attractive or they pay no special attention to culturally sponsored success but be attractive in other ways eg they simply try to be successful in sex in itself and deem other forms of success as not relevant. They may define their own alternative forms of success. Or they may conform and form relationships with people of similar degree of success. Or combinations of these solutions. But sex is allied to success and property because isn't success the same as property? Either self possession(the Soul) or material possession(the World)? And property or properties are necessarily intrinsic to human life, starting with the human body itself.

The Execute is just a function of the brain. It has a simple role in initiating any action regardless of the wisdom or desire to initiate such an action. As such its recognition is excellent in dealing with depression in that depression causes inactivity and a tendency to inactivity. Execution may be used to overcome low mood/motivation and a lack of imagination or causes of inaction. It seems to be switched off in the depressed state. Its operation is supremely simple ie ON or OFF. But because it is separate from emotion and thought it can be practically absent in a depressed individual. It can be called Will as in Platos tripartite Soul.
