The Descendants hits theaters on December 16th, 2011.
Cast: George Clooney, Shailene Woodley, Mary Birdsong, Judy Greer, Beau Bridges, Matthew Lillard, Robert Forster, Nick Krause, Amara Miller
From Alexander Payne, the creator of the Oscar-winning "Sideways", set in Hawaii, "The Descendants" is a sometimes humorous, sometimes tragic journey for Matt King (George Clooney) an indifferent husband and father of two girls, who is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife suffers a boating accident off of Waikiki. The event leads to a rapprochement with his young daughters while Matt wrestles with a decision to sell the family's land handed down from Hawaiian royalty and missionaries.

RE the Georgian dancing, I have been lucky to watch the Georgian Dancers, twice here in New Zealand.
The girls are so beautiful, the men are so acrobatic, and like many others I watched the sword fight dancing with bated breath, waiting for someones head to fall off, they are so clever and agile.
Marvellous dancing and music, I will certainly watch again should the Georgian dancers come to my country.
