In the end I got it done at a private hospital, consultation on tuesday and went in for surgery Saturday just gone.. I can already feel the diff...

My hand was useless before I had it, I couldnt write, get dressed properly, couldnt do anything that required the use of my right hand.. Now its still weak, and my little finger still feels odd/burns/numb at times....
