@hopdashrun not at all, the shimano line from lowest to highest performance is 2300, sora, tiagra, 105, ultegra, dura ace. and the tech filters down, so tiagra uses the same tech dura ace was using a few years back, making them very good shifters. as long as they are kept clean and well maintaine...
