It's not too deep as long as you make solid contact everytime and can hit the same shapes. Also, you have the swing of a low handicap, working on short game will get you somewhere

@grayham30 I believe that's because he has a huge hip turn; most people who don't stop like have a more continuous hip movement that isn't so fast so soon in the swing.

@wdefrancesco how would one prevent the high release here? I noticed you mentioned luke donald does it as well... what causes the high release / what gets the release on the right plane?

This guy is wrong. The hands aren't supposed to arrive at the same time as the clubhead. That's not a downward strike; the goal is to have a downward strike.
