It was a glitch in uploading, I think. The YouTube views in and of themselves don't count towards the vote, only the QE website votes do, so the the duplicate video shouldn't affect those numbers. (I hope...) :-)

It's actually a simple hair-scrunchie and not a capo. It deadens the strings for fast legato runs to minimize string noise. Greg Howe and Guthrie Govan, among others use this "cheat"... :-)
