I saw this movie back in 81 or was it 82? with my girl friend and her daughter,they kept their eyes closed throughout the entire movie,the scene where he wakes up in the forest was a classic! by the way the theater we watched it in was the Loews Paradise in the Bronx NY!

Paloma kicked some ballet ass with this performance,she let everybody know I'm just as good as you or anybody else bitch!

How did Pyotr manage all those strings together,its amazing what he heard and then to arrange it perfectly not just for strings but for all instruments especially the flutes which are my favorites. There are segments where he blends the instruments to sound like an organ,its amazing!

I watched this movie for the first time last week and I must say this movie did not deserve 31/2 stars! This movie was a little far fetched and outrageous! Ballet is beautiful and angelic,I did not see the beauty of ballet in this movie wouldn't cha say?

Arabian Dance is beautiful,but there is mystery in this piece and sensuality and this is why it stands out,but to some people they might think it doesn't fit in The Nutcracker,well opinions vary and thats good,so to make a long story short I wouldn't change a thing.

Why this show for only one season? I don't understand,it was great,lots of laughs,compassion,drama with suspense! The actors were right on the money,all of the characters were outstanding.HBO do it again already!
