My channel has been geared towards defending the Catholic faith for the last few years .Its going to stay that way .However, I am feeling the need to gear my ministry towards debating Muslims as well as atheist more then ever. These days Atheists are trying to take God out of everything .March 11th of this year,they tried to take the words"under God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance in San Fransisco .By the grace of God they failed .It is important to read up on the Atheist movement .Many of them are afraid to research miracles .Ask them"what are you afraid of?" They love to research science and evidence they think goes against Christianity but when it comes to evidence towards the existence of God they shy away .Bring this message to them: How can reason tell us that God exists?There are 5 classic proofs for the existence of God .1. The need for a Prime mover ,2. The need for a First cause 3. the need for a Necessary Being ,4. The need for a Supremely Perfect Being ,5. The need for an Intelligent designer .1,3,4 are highly philosophical and is not ideal to use with an atheist however, they will not be able to dismiss 2 and 5 .The need for a first cause .This is important to remember that everything was caused by something .The atheist will claim the Big Bang .Ask them"Who set off the Big Bang?It had to have cause by something .That is where our intelligent Designer comes in .It is important to investigate miracles for yourself and your own knowledge .Take notes .We need as many Atheists challenged as possible and this can be done by educated Catholics .Not just Catholics should be part in this battle .The protestants denominations should be part of this as well .Call it Christian unity.Although we Catholics have more in our Arsenal
to use in this battle .We have Eucharistic miracles such as Lanciano,St. Januarius .We have Lourdes.We have the Shroud of Turan,evidence of Noahs Ark ,Our Lady of Quadalupe ,We have many miracles that can still be seen .Study it all and use it all and challenge the atheist and agnostic to look them up .its important to understand that many of them had something tragic happen to them as youths .or something could of happened in recent years .Explain to them how it does not let them off the hook .Suffering can be beneficial .many times suffering causes people to grow in character .Let them know that God has given us free will .many of us abuse that free will bringing much suffering and evil into the world .It is not Gods fault the gift of free will has been misused. I recommend to all to get this series of books called"Beginning Apologetics " The books that can help you battle the atheist movement is called"How to Answer Atheists and New Agers ".Much of my information comes from this book .The Authors names are Father Frank Chacon and Jim Burnham . This book can help protestants as well .Now The Muslim religion is growing and continues to grow .Now it is important to debate them and challenge their beliefs . Many of us are educated enough to know that the Muslim faith is a false faith and no different then The Mormon faith . Both religions were started by men who claimed to have revelations . Both wrote books claiming to be word of GOD. The Quran was written over 600 years after Christ,and 200 years after the Old and New testament were brought together.Muhammad took a number of religions and took the parts he liked and combined them together .Christianity is one of the religions. However, his wife along with her relative were Nestorian .Which is a heretical form of Christianity .The main beliefs of Christianity were taken out of the Nestorian religion sort of like the guts being taken out of a car.Now I am not mocking Nestorians however Im pointing out that Muhammad got his information of the Christian faith from people who were not in touch with core Christian beliefs .The Quran states that we worship Mary and that she is part of the trinity .So it makes sense that he got this view from his Wife and her relative..Another book I recommend you read when answering Muslims is"How to answer Muslims " its also part of the Beginning Apologetics series.Now ,It is still important for Catholics to defend the faith .But I suggest you seek out debates with non believers and Muslims as well .But if I may warn you,if you are not ready and have not researched the subjects enough then they could get you in a bind.Know both subjects .Know what to say and then pursue debates with them . Everyday you sign in, type topics on miracles or atheists .You will be most likely able to find their comments .Just type in Muslims for the Muslim.Be ready .
