About Me:
My earliest memories involve music. We had a piano in the house since before I can remember. When I was six or seven, my older brother got piano lessons. He would leave his lesson book on the piano so I would look through it. I ended up teaching myself how to play and read music. A couple years later, my mom finally got me lessons. I dropped piano after a year, and began flute. After a year of flute, a learned clarinet. I played clarinet until I was 14. Then I joined the drumline. I played for four years, then taught for two. Things changed and I got a new job. For the first time since I was a child, I was not around music every day. It was a strange period for me. I craved live music and started filming local bands, just to be around it. This only held me over for so long. When I was nearly 20 I started singing. I started a band with a friend. Again, I found myself wanting more. The band broke up after a year and I decided it was time to learn guitar. I bought a guitar when I was 21 and started teaching myself. I've never had a guitar or vocal lesson. what you see is a lifetime of public music education and a passion for something I can't be without. Take it or leave it, it's all I've got and it makes me happy!
