1. During the first pull, back angle in relation to the ground remains constant. The bar is raised through extending the knees.
2. At the start the lifter shoulders should be forwards of the bar.

@risesevenfold I figured it when becoming a certified coach with British weightlifting. During the first pull the bar is lifted through knee extension only. The back angle in relation to the ground stays the same. Watch a lifter like Evgeny Chigishev and you will see.
