I realize my biography is long, so here are a few facts about me:
My birthday is on February 4, 1992.
My ethnicity is 100% Chinese.
My passion is SINGING! Dancing comes second to that :)
I started video blogging June 13, 2009 my high school graduation day.
My favorite activities in high school were Chamber Choir (haha i was a choir nerd :P) and Dance Company (contemporary to hip hop dance)
I attended the University of Washington from for 2009-2011 and have now transferred the George Washington University.
My music idols are Beyonce, Adele, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis, and Taylor Swift.

Once in awhile a young talent arrives on the scene destined for the global spotlight. The lovely and exceptionally gifted first soprano, OLIVIA LEE, is that rising star. Born the eldest of four, in Whittier, California, on February 4, 1992. Olivia was named after the Grammy Award winning artist, Olivia Newton John, so it's no surprise that young Olivia's path was already set. She has a natural talent and started singing almost before she could talk, at the ripe old age of two! Private piano lessons began at the age of four, and few years later, Olivia entered the prestigious Colburn School of Performing Arts where she took vocal lessons. It didn't take long for Olivia's gift to garner the attention of others including her teachers. At the age of ten, she was encouraged to audition to perform at Lacy Park in San Marino. Olivia was a hit. Another successful audition landed her in the Huntington Middle School Choir, where she continued to grow artistically. Olivia was a part of San Marino Huntington Middle School's theatrical ensemble performing in the school's musicals: The Music Man, Crazy for You, and Bugsy Malone. After a strenuous and successful audition, Olivia became a member of the San Marino High School Chamber Choir chaired by Director Howard Cheung. This acclaimed high school chorus has performed in many invitational choral festivals throughout California where it has received numerous accolades. The choir performs to audiences both nationally and internationally. In the spring of 2007, Olivia and her San Marino High School Chamber Choir had the privilege of performing at the American Choral Directors Association in Miami, Florida, one of the highest honors awarded to a choir. Olivia has traveled with her choir on a Spring Concert tour to perform in Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Japan, Taiwan, and Peru. Olivia loves to dance. In the summer of 2007, she performed in the extravaganza, Dancetra, where she and the ensemble lit up the stage. Olivia was a member of the Dance Company at San Marino High School.
Much like her namesake, Olivia is passionate about developing as a consummate performer. She is a beautiful first soprano, a piano virtuoso, a flutist and a dancer. But unlike Olivia Newton John, Olivia is of Chinese ancestry and is challenging an old paradigm where academic excellence traditionally over rides artistic expression. Olivia Lee has learned to balance both very well. She is an honor student who cares deeply about topical teen concerns and even global issues like the plight of Darfur. She is a role model to her siblings and an inspiration to her friends.
Olivia's father, Su Kin Lee, M.D., Ph.D., an Internal medicine doctor and her mother Susie Wong, Office Administrator to the Lee practice, both remember the thwarted dreams of Olivia's grandmother who also loved singing. Together they vowed that their daughter would have every opportunity to reach her goal.
Her father, beams with pride when he tells the story of his daughter's determined spirit when she petitioned for her parent's commitment to help her career, "you haven't tried hard enough," she declared. Anyone who meets her feels her immediately known she means business, that is the business of becoming one of the first Asian super talent with a message...if you dream big and work hard, nothing is impossible!
Olivia Lee has it all. Her personality is infectious, she embodies the values of her culture, has a voice that is undeniable and a determination that is guaranteed to break new ground! When asked once if she had other goals, Olivia answered, "What will I do if I didn't sing?" Music is the portal through which I transport my emotions, my voice and my vision for the world.
Her new release is our gift and our portal through which we will meet the versatile and multi-talented rising star...Olivia Lee!
