About Me:
I'm a big fan of olympic sports, olympic games, their history and traditions, which have suffered quite a big and not always good influence in recent years btw... Being a big proponent of individuality I want to dedicate this channel to all my favourite individual olympic sports like track and field athletics, swimming, gymnastic, almost all winter sports events, their development through the years, the brightest representatives and individualities of sports... There is a huge amount of various sports videos here on youtube so I'll try to complement and to archive all the videos from the main sports events and make this channel somehow useful to all sports fans or even historians:)
Also I would like to say that I give priority to female sport. I enjoy watching strong and powerful ladies, their rivalry in stadium's path, in skating rink, in swimming pool or in the sector for throws... I think it's because of my nostalgia for 80's when the sports world has been conquered by the female athletes of former German Democratic Republic. I remember how impressive they looked among sportswomen from other country, particularly in track-and-field athletics or swimming events. I was fascinated not only by fast and muscular women from former GDR, but also by the easiness they won the competition with... Now we know those victories in many cases were spotted with doping scandals. Despite this fact I can't disassociate from my sympathy for this legendary and already extinct country, its great sports system, where the woman first of all had a predominant role ...
In these days we can find much similarities in China sport system, where young girls and women show much better results in sports in compareing with chinese male athletes. There are lot of examples of this in swimming, athletic, weightlifting, various sport games and winter sports...
But my perception of women's sport concept does not confine only with the power or strength. There are lof of other factors that make women's sport attractive and fascinating; for example, gracefulness, elegance, flexibility and of course the main factor - womanliness... Probably such sports like gymnastics and figure skating are the best sports for displaying all those features. I think gymnastics and figure skating are women's sport classics. Also gymnastics and figure skating are among the most important and influential sports. I have a big liking for these two sports because of such great sport personalities like Nadia Comaneci, Olga Korbut, Aurelia Dobre, Katarina Witt and other.
So all sport's fans, who have similar sports priorities are welcome!:)

In Moscow I was 12 years old , and I was fan the sports in USSR and GDR . I don't Know to explain why this , but I liked very much the sports in USSR and GDR . My favorite female athlete is Kristin Otto . I like others olympic sports like diving, gymnastic and track and field . Now a days in Brazil we have a sportv ( a channel that broadcast many olympic sports and I always watch this channel ).
By the way , I've ever been in Vilnius in 2008 . I enjoyed a lot . There are many beautifuls churches in Vilnius and the food is delicious .

I see, you hadn't possibility to watch Moscow games... actually I didn't see any live broadcast from this Olympics too! the reason is simple: I was just 7 years of age at this time and then I had a little bit other interests:)... just a couple of years later I started watching regularly various sports broadcasts and television programs...
By the way do you have your favourite sportswoman or female athlete?
Are you interested in other olympic sports ?

I´m waiting with anxiety your videos from Moscow Olympics and Montreal Olympics , specially the videos with Barbara Krause . In my country was impossible watching this videos because there wasn't a good contact between Brazil and USSR or GDR .Í've never seen the finals from Moscow Olympics .I hope that you find the videos with Petra Schneider and other swimmers from GDR . I prefer the womens from GDR , because they were the best swimmer in the world . But I like some men's swimmers like Vladimir Salnikov and Uwe Dassler .

I'm glad to meet a fan of German Democratic Repubilc's sport! I feel a big nostalgia for 80's era too!.. actually I have some more videos from Moscow Olympics, including one with Barbara Krause and one video from Montreal Games with Kornelia Ender ( I will upload them as soon as I finish editing works on improving the quality)... but I miss lot of videos from World and European championships;(... especially I miss videos with Petra Schneider and her record swims, I haven't found any video yet:(...
By the way are you interesting only in female sport?
