Hey everybody!
I'm Olga Boer, 17 years old and a starting singer-songwriter.
I write songs since I was 9 or 10 years old, by then they were of course in my own language, Dutch.
I write songs in English from the age of 14 I guess, so there might be some grammatical mistakes in my lyrics or comments, sorry for that. :)
I like to tell stories with my songs. Before I started writing songs, I wrote stories or little books, often with my friend who had the same obsession, and in my songs I'd like to do the same.
Most of my songs aren't based on my own life, but the life of someone I made up. Just because I think that's more interesting than my own life, haha! :D
I'm playing guitar for half a year now I think, flute for four years, and this is my first year I take lessons for piano. Before that I used to experiment on a keyboard. :)
Every comment, every positive reaction, cheers me up. It would be fantastic if I could do this all my life, and I'll be able to work hard for it.
