That KR driver was asleep! They're slower than a ZR1, yes, but especially when they just sit at the start! On stock tires the KR should be low 12s, not mid 13s.

I think 315 HP out of a NA 281" engine that runs on 87 octane fuel, isn't too shabby.

My previous statement was simply, that running those two stock-to-stock, the Bullitt will always win. EITHER car can be modified to beat the other; it's just a matter of $.

Great peppers, these Caribbean Reds; been growing and eating/cooking with 'em for a couple years now, and some can be VERY hot!

@maxyac1 - NO GT500 is that slow... Most are high 12s - low 13s on stock tires (they just spin), high 11s - low 12s on drag tires. Regular 4.6 GTs (stock) typically run high 13s - low 14s in the 1/4. If you're used to a Sonata, you'd sh!t a brick riding in my GT500... :)

The new muscle cars run a bunch better (stock for stock) than just about any of the old muscle cars, and get better mileage doing it. Old Chevelles are cool,and so are new GT-500s!

I can tell you from personal experience, that they're both monsters, but they're only being compared here for amusement value. You're comparing a true sports car (Z06) to a sporty 4 seat GT muscle car (KR). The KR is under...

It is a "regular" GT500, not a KR. The KR is louder and has a deeper tone (H pipe on the KR).
