I am a artist who happens to be living with ovarian cancer stage 3.Given 6 months to 1 yr to live in 1980 and nothing for 5 yrs I was able to enjoy my love of art and music full time..I am now internationally published and can be found in many books ,cd covers,and such.
My work in wheelchair sports begain when I took up wc tennis 7 yrs ago.Now I am told I am one of the leading people in this field and the only woman..My work posted is to honor my friends who train so hard and never get the kutos they deserve..It is also to maby change peoples ideas of what people in chairs are about.I hope some of the hate videos will slow when my friends are seen as real people not something to poke fun at.I am thankful for this though cause with out them I would have never posted my work in the area.It is but a small part of my art and music but for now the most important.I am trying to pull together a touring show of the work seen here to honoe and to educate..feel free to contact me with leads..Also feel free to post on slideshows but I will ask that you do not post something disrespectful to my friends or family..have sight in film on myspace..alicefayelove soon to add section in music on myspace...
I would also like to say that te quality of vid on wc sports has improved from my first posts.I have a wheelchairtennis divas page on my space for players and folks decanted to improving coverage and info on wc sports.
As a after thought I ranked #3 A DIVISION IN 2008 IN TENNIS..NOT TO SHABBY FOR A OLD WOMAN
