"It was good to come back," Garon said. "It's been a while since I played and since I got a start. I worked really hard in the last two or three weeks to be ready for that game. I got a bit lucky and the guys played really well in front of me."
"We addressed it yesterday and were pretty forthright," Stars goalie Marty Turco said. "A few of us were honest, but we have quite a hole to climb out of as a team and that's what all of our focus has been today and will be, certainly, in the immediate future. I said earlier, it's out of my hands and none of my concern at this point."

SCOTIABANK TOP STAR OF THE SEASON
Sidney Crosby
Centre - Penguins
13 goals, 21 assists, 34 points
BROKEN RECORDS:
-The Canadiens are in their 100th season in the NHL, the oldest hockey club exist.
-Wilson guided the Sharks to a 206-134-38 record with 19 ties in four-plus seasons with the club. He surpassed Darryl Sutter as the franchise's all-time wins leader on March 1.
-Under Wilson, the Sharks were the only team to have won at least one playoff series in each of the last four years.
-Although the Oilers didn't make the playoffs last season, they broke the record of most shootout wins in a single season; 15.
-After a heartbreaking game 7 loss in 03 cup finals, the Anaheim Ducks came hard during 07 playoffs season as they became the first Californian team to ever touch the Stanley Cup.
-In 2006, Oilers became the first 8th place team to ever reach the Stanley Cup Finals where they lost to the Hurricanes in seven games
MOST IMPROVED NHL CLUB AWARD: Philadelphia Flyers
Runner-up: Montreal Canadiens
Reason: They finished last the league in 2006-07 season. Even though they nearly blew a 3-1 series lead, they were still able to make it to the Conference Finals of the playoffs only to lose to the Pittsburgh Penguins in five games. In the Conference Semi-Finals they won the series over the Habs in just five games.
MOST IMPRESSIVE PLAYOFFS RUN AWARD: Detroit Red Wings
Runner-up: Pittsburgh Penguins
Reason: The Red Wings had struggled in playoffs ever since legendary Scotty Bowman retired after leading this team to their Stanley Cup six years ago. With all the struggles, the Wings never gave up and their hard work payed off. Last playoffs, not only did they sweep pass the Colorado Avalanche in round two, but also had a nine game winning streak which started in game five of the opening round vs. the Nashville Predators. The Red Wings also shutout the Pittsburgh Penguins in two straight games to start the Stanley Cup Championship. They battled back from two goals behind in game five which forced overtime whre they eventually lost. No worries though, they came hard in game 6 and punished the Penguins by winning the Stanley Cup on their ice.
MOST DROPPED NHL CLUB: Buffalo Sabres
Runner-up: Vancouver Canucks
Reason: They finished first and won their first ever presidential trophy at the end of the 2006-07 season and finished the playoffs in the Conference Finals only to lose to the Ottawa Senators, but they finished 10th, and didn't make the playoffs in the past season, very disappointing.

Team Comments:
"Up and down and sideways," Ilitch said. "Only the Dominator could make those moves."
"He had that different style, but he stopped the puck, and that's what mattered," Lidstrom said. "It was real fun to play with him. He's such a competitive guy that even in practice it was hard to score on him. He got mad when you did. Winning the Cup in '02, it was great seeing how happy he was, just the celebration on the ice and in the locker room afterward."
"I know it's 100 percent the right time to say good-bye," Hasek said. "Physically, I feel great. It's all about passion and motivation. I just don't feel I'm ready to compete at the highest level. I don't want to disappoint anyone.
My Favorite Memory:
DOMINICK HASEK bring us millions of memories, my favorite was the incredible hit on Marián Gáborík during a Wings-Wild game. His name should never be forgotten, he is one of the greatest goalie of all time. Let us wish him peace and happiness in his retirement. Goodbye Hasek! and thank you!
